Impossible is nothing comes in a new inspirational way for brand Adidas. In Adidas’ latest global advertising campaign, Impossible Team, created for 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany, two kids are shown picking up their dream football team. The campaign which is a continuation of Adidas +10 branding exercise celebrates the magic of ‘team’ and features soccer hotties of present days like Beckham, Kaku Frank Lampard, Michael Ballack, Arjen Robben, Juan Roman Riquelme and Rai. What’s more to get the right melancholic mix for the elder gen the young guns will be joined by Franz Beckenbauer and Michel Platini.
Developed by agency called independent 180 Amsterdam the impossible team commercial will be premiered on April 04 and 05 during the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals.
In the first ad spot, ‘Equipo’ two Spanish little kids, Jose and Pedro instead of picking the local stars from neighborhood decide to get their players from international teams. Impossible fantasy comes into reality when the team actually lines up in front of them.
In the second commercial, ‘Partido’ two chosen teams actually play against each other while the kids take control of the game.
