Advertising industry is now all set to put star celebrities under tight scanner to evaluate their timely advertising worth. Indian Stars including Amitabh Bachchan and Shahrukh Khan will be examined on quarterly basis to see if they are still worth the amount they get advertising. Recently, market research agency AC Nielsen Org-Marg and celebrity managers PDM joined hands to initiate a quarterly study.

Now onwards, these agencies will be involved in quarterly examination of star celebrities to check that whether their star appeal and visibility are worth for their million-dollar bill. The study called Star Power Track, will evaluate star appeal, effectiveness, visibility, star's image and consumer connect.
The study will be based on consumer feedback. The first study is scheduled to be released in December first week. The first study is likely to keep 30 celebrities under scanner.
