Advertisement are sometimes very effective to the masses as an ad campaign for recycling the waste in London has been immensely successful to drive people to recycle their waste. The ad campaign not only received greater attention of public but influenced them for the cause as well. According to an Ipsos MORI poll, around one-fourth of residents from four London boroughs who witnessed the assertive advertisement say that they are now recycling almost everything.
The advertising ad campaign has featured the famous landmark of London Tower bridge seemingly buried in a huge heap of waste. The punching line of the ad reads ‘Just when will you start recycling?’. The survey also suggest that almost 80 percent people are now satisfied with the accessibility of their recycling facilities whereas in the year 2002, only 42 percent were satisfied with their accessibility to their recycling facilities.
