Advertising is not new to this practice. Well, this is what this ad campaign for Calvin Klein jeans has done, and the controversial billboards displayed in Australia as part of its campaign has been banned by The Advertising Standards Bureau.

The billboards in Sydney and Melbourne featured a semi-naked girl with three men. The girl appears to be straddled by these men, in a clearly suggestive way.
The Advertising Standards Bureau, while banning the ad observed- The Board considered that the image was demeaning to women by suggesting that she is a plaything of these men. It also demeans men by implying sexualised violence against women.
