The biggest outdoor ad ever is no more Eva Longoria’s Maxim. Dubai, probably the biggest human created entertainment center in the world (includes ice park in desert), now got this outdoor hoarding from Sorouh Real Estate, reports The Guardian.
Outdoor ad company Ad-Air has created this mammoth 20,000 square meter ad (215,278 square foot) for an undisclosed amount of money. According to a conservative estimate it may cost the client $80,000 to $160,000 per month. No escape for passengers going to and from Dubai International Airport, the ad is strengthen enough to attract attention from airline travelers. The ad is supposedly be seen by an estimated 14 million people.
How did it get the status of ‘largest advertising banner?’ Inspectors from Guinness of Book of World Record investigated the matter first and certified it the world’s biggest so far.
Wondering, how effective ad strategy like this actually helps. As far as eyeball is concerned, the ad will get many and will be one of the hot discussions in the party circuit. But what after that? Remember, the ad comes from one real estate firm and not from entertainment sector. It’s much higher value life time buy.
