Even political ads are vulgar at times

This television advertisement criticizing Sen. Conrad Burns for condemning a firefighting crew, has been directed to be pulled off with immediate effect since it has used indecent language. The Montana broadcasters Association lost no time to warn its members strictly to take this ad off fearing the ad may lead to fines if it is not withdrawn.

Following the stiff stance of the Federal Communications Commission on using indecent language that can invoke a fine of $325,000 per violation, the association was quick to withdraw the ad. However, they are still unclear of the probable reaction of the commission on the issue.

However, Burns had apologized later on, for what he said for firefighter but Democrat Senate Campaign Committee is of the view that voters need to know what he had said.
