The new Gambling Act will soon scrap all the Rules banning gambling commercials when it comes to force in September next year. The new Act will enable casinos, betting shops and other types of gambling to advertise even on televisions.

However, the Advertising Standards Authority will be strictly vigilant on these ads to ensure that the companies or the advertisers act in accordance with the content guidelines as per the rules.
The new Act however has made rules to check the unwarranted ad on the TV or in print. If any print advert, related to gambling is found non-complying with the rules, that will be directly referred to the Gambling commission.
