
Continuing its 50’s ‘General Electric Theater’ tradition, General Electronics Electric (GE) and BBDO once again hopes to achieve success with ‘One-Second Theater’ ad campaign for GE. This multimillion-dollar campaign was launched yesterday to which David Lubars, chairman of BBDO says,
We’re harkening back to an old idea, in combination with new technology.The ad campaign features ‘commercial within a commercial’, which are ads with embedded material that only shows up frame by frame on DVRs, podcasts purporting to be from the animals featured in the ads, a microsite for the campaign and the imaginary biography on MySpace of Elli — a dancing elephant that stars in some of the commercials.

’General Electronics’??? If you want credibility for your opinions, ideas and more generally your site, i’d recommend getting your company names right.

Thanks for pointing that out. Trust me, it was just a typo where the word got fed through unwittingly. It was ’just one of those things’ and I am sure you might know that.
The company names are always right here, this was just an exception.
