Google introduces pay-per-click video ads

Now similar to pay-per-click-text ad model, Google is ready to run video ads on websites. The internet search king with this move will be in direct competition with the television channels for a bigger chunk of ad spending. This new approach will surely make an end to the trend of irritating pop ups. Its lack of return on investment and the nature of it already have made it unpopular with the advertisers.

Google video ad as for now is appearing on the webpage as static screenshots in a small TV like boxes. When one clicks on the screen instead of jumping pf the page, the ad begins running inside the box only.
