Google makes foray into mainstream ads with Saturn creative

Google has now started flirting with its chances in Madison Avenue in its bid to prove or indicate it is not only restricted to the monotonous blue text ads and wants to flex its brain muscles even in mainsteam ads. Google while breaking the ice to experiment with the new idea teamed up with Goodby, Silverstein & Partners in San Francisco, an Omnicom Group agency known for offbeat creative work. Now these two companies will work on a project for agency's one the most important client the Saturn Division of General Motors.

The latest project to test a campaign for Saturn several Google products and services clickable video clips, the Google Earth satellite-mapping tool will be bundled together for computer users. Visitors can look into 22 Saturn dealerships, spreading across the nation, with some banner ads for Aura, the new Saturn mid size sedan. Clicking on these ads will reflect a view of the earth and it will further zoom in on the dealership nearest to your point.
