Jokes have many categories. Clean jokes, office jokes, dirty jokes…advertising is not unfamiliar to jokes. Even insurance companies have begun to bank on jokes to sell the product. But some jokes may misfire, and may not help you sell your car.

This print campaign for seinor self defense academy, too adopts a humorous way to convey the message. The ads, developed by 10 advertising, Antwerp, features thugs or roughs who are ‘mercilessly’ defeated by the seniors. Their postures and the title ‘deadly seniors’ are indeed intended to make us laugh and think.
However, there is some element in these images that make these ‘jokes’ gruesome. And that makes this campaign repulsive to some extent.
