Is Ad industry reeling under idea shortage?

Anybody would be awestruck seeing these advertisements based on the same idea for different companies but for a similar product. These ads showing lions with different hair styles are created by different agencies for hair styling brands. Moreover, it is really poignant to witness when a unique idea is being repeated. Though we are witnessing such examples every now and then still the ad industry should do something on the problem of shortage of fresh ideas.

However, the practice of this kind we counter very often even then these ads are stunningly similar where everything is almost similar besides the agencies.
