Its time to be really real

Pimples do exist in real world. But they are not real in the pages of those glossy magazines, except in ads for cosmetic products. True, we are living in an imperfect world, where just plain facts exist. But there is another world to which we are often exposed to-a world where perfection seems the accepted norm, a world were imperfect ones are considered to be buffoons or villains. This is a world of glossy ads and digitally enhanced breasts which is sometimes whitened clumsily.

Then what’s the deal? Well, I am talking about a Move to Curb Digitally Altered Photos in Ads in Britain. The Liberal Democrats, the third-largest party in Britain, after Labor and the Conservatives is voicing its concern about the growing obsession among people, especially teenagers, to imitate those digitally enhanced unreal characters they see in ads.
