Microsoft is believed to be making an offer for a company that serves ads for wireless websites and cell phones. Third Screen Media is a software and services firm, which has clients like USA Today, Dunkin' Donuts, Master Card, MSN and the Weather Channel.

When the nascent market for mobile advertising is gaining momentum, analysts believe Microsoft's latest acquire will give it an immediate access to technology that serves up ads on mobile phones and as well as network of relationship with other leading advertisers.
In the beginning of this month, Microsoft has acquired Massive, a company that inserts ads on video games.
