It enables people to see what others are earning and determine, if they are being paid what they’re worth.
The company had created a precise copy of an unopened payslip, right down to the flimsy stock and perforated edges. The pay slip was inserted into magazines giving impression that if it were a mistake and distributed accordingly.
The campaign apparently aimed at provoking people’s sentiments using an instrument which is very close to their interest. The basic idea of the campaign was undoubtedly very creative and compelling as people could not have stopped themselves from having a look at it.
