News papers are dying? Not really

No, no. there are many who are prepared to write obituaries for the ailing newspapers. However, what we can infer from a new data of Scarborough Research is that this kind of newspaper death talks are exaggerated to some extent.

Scarborough Research, which is a joint partnership with The Nielsen Company and Arbitron, Inc., says that nearly three in four adults, nearly 171 million, in the U.S. read a newspaper – in print or online – on a weekly basis. The study also reveals that 82% of adults with household incomes of $100,000 or more read a printed newspaper and 84% of adults who are college graduates or more read a printed newspaper.
