The ocean of creative ideas is certainly drying out. Despite an interesting premise, one finds it really hard to ignore the fact that JWT Australia has taken the beaten track of typical ‘zoom’ ideas. The Olympus creative bears a striking resemblence in theme to campaigns launched sometime ago by Nokia and Nikon. The trend has perhaps caught on. All said and done, one must agree that the ad is unbelievably hilarious - something its predecessors failed to achieve. Refinement definitely helps!
