Online advertising is roaring high. Last year online advertising set a new record when it has recorded a billing of $12.5 billion, a whopping jump of 30% than previous year. The industry is going good, but, may be it's now time to look ahead and check some ground realities.

When an average teenager is exposed to more than 25,000 ads in a day, you don't know how effective would each one of them be...may be advertisers should think of some clutter breaking exercise from now on. When an average teenager spends approximately $100-400 per week, an ad should be persuasive enough to get a pie of the budget.
No, I am not talking about behavioral targeting and other stuff. Some marketing minds plan to get celebrities on board (the oldest and arguably the most powerful marketing weapon of all time) to capture the attention of the teenagers. Some are currently using 'Macromedia Flash' on experimental basis and using celebrity images on it. They have said that they will purchase rights from the celebrities to use their image on the ads.
