PETA, the aristocratic group of animal lovers, has unleashed a wild campaign against McDonalds. Its new ad features a close-up of the eye of a chicken that’s been scalded alive in order to create negative publicity around the McDonald's brand.

The disturbing thing for Mcdonalds is that PETA is using a parody of Mcdonalds taglines. For example, the poster features the tagline "i'm hatin' what I see," which is actually a parody of McDonald's familiar "i'm lovin' it" . People who read the tagline would probably remember it when they read the MacDonalds tagline.
PETA criticizes Mcdonalds mainly because of the unhealthy slaughterhouse technology. As part of the campaign, PETA has included a website and video.
