PETA is pleased with ZooZoos

Forget the old story of PETA criticizing vodafone(Hutch) commercials starring the pug. PETA is extremely happy with the new Vodafone campaign using Zoozoos, which has already made waves across the world.

The Zoozoo ads have proved that there are many creative ways to convey a message without using animals (and stars). Vodafone has won the first of PETA's 2009 Glitterbox Awards, which are given to businesses that take advantage of humane alternatives to the use of real animals in their ads.

Zoozoos are neither animals nor animated creatures; they are actually human beings like all of us. The animal rights activists are pleased. That’s fine.
