Steven Van Zandt’s ‘White Stripes’ is an ad campaign of Little Steven’s Rock and Roll High School. Scribblings on a school writing desk say alot about high school kid’s mind. A scribble here is an anecdote about ‘white Stripes’:

The White Stripes Rock … thanks to Ike Turner who in 1951 created Rock and Roll’s signature distorted guitar sound when he stuffed some paper inside a broken amp that fell off the top of his car on his way to record “Rocket 88”.

This also conveys a lot about how interesting Rock and Roll history can be to a young teenager.

Little Steven’s Rock and Roll High School is an educational initiative of Rock and Roll Forever Foundation. It aims to take rock and roll history into every high school and middle school in the United States. Interesting concept relating directly to the target group. It also says a lot about the final aim of the organisation - to make musical inroads into a teenager’s impressionable mind.
