
Yes, we all are familiar with this kind of situations. We don’t have to walk far backwards through the route of our memory to remember the situations in which we used to kill a mosquito or cockroach with magazines. This everyday experience is used here as a concept for this innovative way to advertise a floor cleaner product.
This advertising effort has been developed by the agency Maruri Grey Ecuador for La Fabril’s new product Olympia, which is a disinfectant floor cleaner with insect repellent action. As part of the effort, four magazines (Interbarrios, Clubs, Samborondon & Country’s for an interactive action) were hired for free distribution to convey the message.
The readers received these magazines with a particularity of being rolled up and tied with a strip of paper, and the message reads- Stop killing the bugs with your favorite magazine.
