It’s simply amazing. Not the advertising geeks but some forty oh-so-amateur students from MSU university will not only create but also produce and do marketing campaign for American Honda Motor Co. Inc. Well, MSU is not alone, excited and eager, students from 18 universities will take part in the challenge.
It seems students have taken the creative fight in full spirit and are all set to create ad spots for American Honda’s new subcompact car, the Fit. They have a total 12 week period in hand to produce their masterpieces.
Ariel de la Merced, the senior analyst with American Honda says that it’s quite possible that Honda may actually use the student’s campaign in the actual advertisement.

Look at the logo. Those of you that are in your mid-forties recognize this logo, not as a Honda emblem but the symbol on the ring on 1960s (worst ever) cartoon Hercules’ finger. Remember the song? Touting virtues such as strength and endurance?
Although a urban legend, this may have been subliminal advertising from the Japanese in the form of a poorly written and drawn cartoon, that was watched by millons of kids in their pre-teens. Flash forard 10 - 15 years. This same logo is used to introduce the Honda 1500 (later to be know as the Civic).
