
A new advertising campaign from the house of largest casual dining concept of the world Applebee and Applebee’s Shrimp Sensations. The promotion which began Monday in all the restaurants across the country is supported by Network Television. Chief marketing officer, John Cywinski says, “The new campaign is an evolution of our popular commercials featuring fun, parody lyrics, and will feature two recurring characters, simply known as “The Applebee’s Guys.” The musical duo will appear in new ads for each promotion as they draw guests’ attention to craveable food served in a friendly, neighborhood setting.”

Applebee’s Shrimp Sensations promotion features new items including a Parmesan-Crusted Shrimp Penne pasta and a Shrimp Trio combination in addition to favorites such as Applebee’s House Sirloin and Grilled Shrimp Combo, Coconut Shrimp, and a Grilled Shrimp ‘n Spinach Salad.

I agree... I saw that damn thing so many times, it made me actively want to avoid applebee’s at all costs. That, and stab forks into my eyes about the 200th time it came on.
I can’t believe they’re making even more of these... do they actually WANT to kill their market share by annoying people?
