Stella Artois: it’s silent, black humour

Sijo JosephMay 27 2009

This video spot for Stella Artois, created by Lowe, London, is black both in its overall appearance and humour sense. In this "reassuringly expensive'' campaign for Stella Artois, there is not a single dialogue, except the light, enigmatic music.

As the bell rang, a group of priests are running through the snow for skating. As the skating goes on, a group decides to buy Stella Artois and sends a young priest. As he comes back, he falls through the ice, giving shock to the on looking priests. They rush to help him out, but when they find out that he doesn’t have Stella Artois in his hand, they abandon him… Watch it.

By this ad, what the makers intend to say is that no one can ignore Stella Artois, even the priests. Are they going to sell some controversy?
